Conference

Building on the success of OPPPS 2024, we have incorporated feedback and suggestions to shape the content for the 2025 event.

This year’s conference will feature panel discussions and fireside chats with key figures driving the operational delivery agenda, with interactive workshops forming the core of the sessions. OPPPS emphasises the importance of sharing best practices and lessons learned, and these smaller interactive sessions are designed to foster meaningful discussions.

This year’s theme (as voted for by you) is future projects, future technology and future services. We’ll be tackling this topic in our plenary session where we ask, what have we learnt from operational projects that we need to embed into the next wave of PPPs?

The conference will include the following sessions:

Operational workshops
Engage with experts on project-specific challenges and opportunities, covering topics such as creating a seamless handback process and strategies for planning operational excellence from day one.

Seminars
Participate in focused conversations, including discussions on collaborative working—what it truly means in practice—and managing variations and change, exploring how to adapt an inflexible model.

Public Sector Training Workshop
A chance for public sector representatives to connect with leading voices in operational PPPs and learn how to enhance the fundamental aspects of project management.

PPP Operational Thought-leaders Panels
Gain insights from prominent figures in operational projects and explore how to integrate lessons learned into future PPP initiatives.

Testimonials

OP3S 2024 received some fantastic feedback from attendees. Below, you’ll find a selection of testimonials that capture the thoughts and experiences of those who joined us at the summit

I, and lots more that I talked to, thought the whole event, and the awards eve especially, was a great success! It was lovely to see so many people from across the industry, and so many from the various parts of the public sector; such an important element. I’m sure next year will be even better and sought after as word of mouth about it spreads. Thank you, such a great addition to annual calendar, and wholly relevant!

It was a great event and so good to see friends and colleagues in person. It makes such a difference.

It was a fabulous summit and thank you for organising it, we were absolutely thrilled with our awards

It was a fantastic event and well attended.

You have certainly hit a sweet spot with the target audience and I was very impressed with the exposure that [we] enjoyed as a sponsor, but equally impressed with the event itself and the content.

It was great to catch up with existing contacts and colleagues, along with making new acquaintances. A packed and informative conference.

Amazing event and brilliant output, particularly considering it was the first.

It was great to catch up with new and familiar faces at the event over the past few days. One of the best I have attended!

We are delighted to have been associated with such a high profile and successful industry event.

What an amazing event! Was amazing to be part such an inspirational event there was a true buzz!

My testimonial would be that the Summit is ‘the go to event for the PPP market. The one place where all the relevant organisations come together to make PPPs work.

Well done on organising such a well-received event. Throughout the summit I kept hearing how this was exactly the type of conference the market needed and filled a gap previous left open.

An excellent and eagerly anticipated event that definitely did not disappoint! Excellent networking, and interesting to hear thoughts from differing stakeholders within the PFI domain.

Great couple of days which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was useful to have so many project stakeholders in the same room. Thank you!

The summit was wide-ranging and overwhelmingly positive. I thought the mix of public and private sector involvement worked extremely well and enabled new and nuanced conversations to take place.

A positive and engaging two days where all parties participated in a collaborative and supportive manner.

OPPPS Attendees

Last year, the event reached full capacity with a few months to spare, which resulted in the need for a waiting list and, regrettably, meaning that we had to turn some attendees away. To ensure that you secure your spot and avoid any potential disappointment, we highly recommend that you book your tickets as early as possible
